I bought this on September 4, so I'll be straight with you: this one is new in my house. I'm still in the testing stretch. But I've used it every day since it arrived, it hasn't failed me once, and I already want a second one.

The problem it actually solves. You're cooking. Your hands are covered in onion, in raw chicken, in whatever. The old way, you push down on the pump with those same hands, and now the pump is dirty, and the next person touches it too. With this one you just put your hand under it and the soap comes out. Nothing to touch. That's the whole point, and once you live with it you don't want to go back.

The three levels. You set how much comes out, one small drop, two, or three. I keep mine where I want it and it delivers the same amount every time. There's also a manual mode when you want a bigger squeeze for heavy cleaning.

What I fill it with. Not soap straight from the bottle. I dilute it in water, and how much soap goes into the water is up to you: you want it to foam the way you like when you rub your hands together, so if the foam comes out thin, add a little more soap. The soap I use is the Truremedy one below, because it is the only one that has never left my hands rough.

The charge. I bought it September 4 and I charged it for the first time last night. That's more than two weeks of daily use on one charge, in a kitchen, with a whole family walking past it.

Where it lives. On the counter right by my kitchen sink, where I work. It's small, it doesn't eat up my space, and it looks clean and elegant in white. Whether the white suits you depends on your kitchen, so look at your counter first.

Why I bought something this new. Here's how I shop, and I'll share it with you. When a brand is launching a product and still building up its reviews, the price is usually at its best. I take that chance sometimes, and this is one that paid off. But it cuts both ways, which is why I'm telling you the next part.

Fair warning, and I mean it. This product is new on Amazon, so there is barely any feedback out there on it yet. I can tell you it has worked perfectly for me for a few weeks. I cannot tell you how it holds up after two years, because I haven't had it two years. When I know, you'll know. That's the deal here.

What I'm doing next. Buying more of them for my bathrooms. I liked it that much.

Skip it if you only buy things with thousands of reviews behind them, or you want a dark finish to match a dark kitchen. If you cook with your hands and you're tired of a sticky soap pump, this one is worth it.
