This is the only soap I have ever used that has not wrecked my hands. Every other soap that calls itself a hand soap leaves mine rough and raw, even when I water it down. This one leaves them soft. Silky, honestly.

I do not use it straight from the bottle. I dilute it with water and pour it into my automatic soap dispenser, the Seawah one I keep by the sink. How much soap goes into the water is up to you. You dilute it until it foams the way you like when you rub your hands together. If the foam comes out thin, add a little more soap. That is the whole trick.

What it is actually like to use. Refreshing. It foams a lot, and it smells like mint, a real mint, not a perfume version of it. You feel that mint on your skin, and it is the reason washing my hands with this one does not feel like a chore. And the ingredient list is a clean one, which is the other reason I keep buying it.

Watered down like that it lasts a long time, and it still comes out thick with foam. That is the part that surprised me. Diluted soap usually turns into water that slides off your hands. This one does not.

My son is 20, and his hands get washed many times a day, every day, with this soap. No cracked skin, no dryness, none of that hard lifted skin around the nails. For me that is the real test, more than anything the bottle claims.

What Truremedy says. Tea tree, peppermint and aloe, with jojoba, coconut and olive oils. No parabens, sulfates, silicone, synthetic fragrance or dyes. Made in the USA, 12 oz. The brand sells it as a body wash for odor and skin irritation, and lists face, hands, feet and body as where it can go.

Skip it if tea tree and peppermint are too strong for your skin. Truremedy itself tells you to patch-test a small area first and not to use it if you are sensitive to either oil. And know this going in: nobody gives you a dilution ratio. You have to find your own by trying it.
