Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek Cream Stick — Muse (Deep Plum)

I have had this one about a year too, and I use it two ways: as a lipstick, and as a very light blush. Same as the Jelly Tint, one stick for lips and cheeks. But this one is more of a lipstick. It marks much more.

The color shows. The Jelly Tint is soft and sheer. This one is more accented, you feel it when you put it on. The shade is Muse, a deep plum, and it is so nice. The finish is satin, not matte, so my lips look soft and full, not dry.

Where I put it. Straight on the lips, and then a very little bit on the cheek, blended out. On the cheek you want almost nothing, because the plum is deep. Light hand, then build if you want more.

It is tiny, and that is the point. It is really small, so it goes in any purse, and in one little minute you are done: lips and cheeks. Super, super versatile.

What to know before you buy. The color is stronger than it looks in the tube, so this is not a stick you swipe on your cheek without blending right away. Start with less than you think. And a deep plum is a nighttime or fall color for most people, not the shade you grab at 7 in the morning. For that I use the Jelly Tint.

Skip it if you want a soft, barely-there natural lip — get the Jelly Tint instead. And if you only like matte lipstick, this one is satin, so it will look shinier than what you are used to.
