I have had this fan for more than two years, and I carry it in my purse. That is the main reason it works for me: it is small enough that it is always with me.

The motor is turbo, and you feel it. Five speeds, and it is fast. For something this small, it is genuinely powerful. That is the part that surprised me most.

But I rarely need speed five. On speed two it already blows so well that the higher speeds are not necessary. I leave it on one or two.

The battery lasts a long time. More than six hours for me, and longer on the low speeds, which is the other reason I stay on one or two. The high speeds do use it up faster, so if you want it to last all day, keep it low. It is rechargeable, so I never buy batteries for it.

I use it three ways. In my hand. Folded open and standing on the table, pointing at me, where it stays steady and does not tip over. Or around my neck when I need my hands free. That versatility is what I like most about it.

Why it stays in my purse. It is light, it fits in any bag, and it is easy to carry everywhere. After two years I still use it, and that says more than anything else I could tell you.

You do hear it. The motor has real revolutions behind it, so it makes noise. It is not silent, and I would rather tell you than have you find out. But honestly, the noise fades into the background next to what you get: how versatile it is, how fast it is, and those speeds are wow. On one and two, where I keep it, it is not a problem at all.

Skip it if you are looking for something to cool a whole space. It is a personal fan, so it cools you and not the room. On a truly hot Florida afternoon it is relief, not air conditioning.
