Angie's honest notes
I have had this electric callus remover for more than two years, and it is still one of the personal-care tools I find most practical. It looks like a thick pen: lightweight, compact and rechargeable, so it takes up very little space at home and fits easily in my bag when I travel.
Why I like it. It does not need to stay plugged in while I use it. Once it is charged, I take it out, turn it on, use it wherever I am and I am done. That makes it quick and easy, especially on trips.
How I use it. I reach for it when my heels start to feel dry or rough and I want them to feel smoother and more cared for. I use it on clean, dry skin: my feet do not need to be wet or soaked first. I move it slowly over the areas that need a little extra attention. In my experience it does a very good job.
My tip. You do not need to press hard. It works better with gentle, steady contact; if I press too firmly the roller slows down or stops, so I let the device do the work. I never keep it in one spot for too long, and I stop if an area starts to feel warm or uncomfortable.
After two years. The only part I have replaced is the roller head. When I notice it is not exfoliating like before, I change the roller and keep using the same device.
Good to know. Mine is the Cold White color. When the roller head wears down, check that the replacement roller fits your exact model. Read the instructions that come in the box, and if you have diabetes, poor circulation or any foot condition, check with your doctor before using a tool like this.
