I've used this for more than eight years. Not a one-time try. This is the moisturizer I keep coming back to. My skin dries out fast, and this one keeps it comfortable without feeling heavy.

Two things the listing doesn't tell you. It's orange. Really orange, and that's turmeric in the formula, not dye. And it smells like oranges. Real ones, because the scent comes from citrus oils instead of synthetic fragrance.

When I use it. Every single time I wash my face, this is the first thing I put on. Straight onto clean, still slightly damp skin, before anything else.

The texture is very light, almost watery. It's a true gel-cream, so it feels light going on and never sits on top of the skin. It spreads with barely any product, soaks in within seconds, and leaves nothing greasy behind. If you're expecting a thick, rich cream, this isn't that.

One thing I would change. Every jar I've bought has arrived with about a centimeter of empty space at the top, sometimes more. I wish they would just fill it properly.

I buy it anyway. What keeps me here is that the organic part is real, not just a word on the label. Avalon lists it as a certified organic formula with no parabens, sulfates or synthetic fragrance, dermatologist tested for sensitive skin, and cruelty-free under the Leaping Bunny program. It leaves my skin soft and comfortable, and the orange scent is gentle, not overpowering. It genuinely feels like I'm putting an organic orange cream on my face, and that's the part I like most.

Skip it if you want a cream with no scent at all, or if you're sensitive to fragrance.
