Angie's honest notes
We gave this little heartbeat plush to our dog Jada for Christmas 2025, and it has been such a sweet and practical comfort item for her.
When we use it. Sometimes we have to leave her home for a little while, and when that happens I like to leave this plush with her. Inside it has a heartbeat feature that creates a gentle, rhythmic sensation, and in her case I have noticed she seems more relaxed and settled with it nearby.
How I use it. It is very simple: I turn on the heartbeat, place the plush near her favorite resting spot, and she curls up next to it like a little companion. It is soft and cuddly, and easy to put on her bed, on the couch or wherever she likes to rest.
For us. It has become part of our routine whenever she needs to stay alone for a little while. It does not replace our company, of course, but it gives her something cozy to snuggle with until we are back home. Anything that helps her feel a little more comfortable is worth having.
What Snuggle Puppy says. The brand describes a battery-powered heartbeat you place in a pouch inside the plush, plus a disposable heat pack, and offers different sizes for small, medium and large dogs.
Good to know. Mine is the Medium size in Biscuit. Snuggle Puppy also makes it in other sizes, so choose the one that works best for your dog. Snuggle Puppy notes it is not a chew toy: supervise your dog, and if she starts chewing it, take it away so she cannot reach the heartbeat unit, batteries or heat pack. Remove the heartbeat unit before washing and follow the heat pack instructions on the box. Every dog is different; if your dog seems very stressed when alone, talk with your veterinarian.
