We bought this one for a specific reason, and I want to tell you the real one.
Why we have it. We bought it for my teenage son, who is autistic. Shaving him needed to be safe first and good second. This one does not cut his face. That is the whole reason it lives in our house, and after about four years it has never let us down.
It does not nick the skin. That is what matters most here. I can go over the same spot two or three times when I need to, and it has never irritated his skin. No cuts, no red marks. For a kid who does not want to be touched for long, being able to go back over an area without hurting him changes everything.
It removes the hair properly. It is not one of those safe machines that barely do anything. It takes the hair off close and clean. In one sitting we go over his whole face, his underarms, and even his private area, and every area comes out smooth.
The battery. We do all of that in one sitting and it still has charge left. It is rechargeable, so there are no batteries to buy.
The blade lasts. This surprised me most. The first blade went almost a year, and I only changed it because I felt I had used it a long time, not because it stopped cutting. Far more than ten shaves out of one blade. That is what makes it worth the money.
It is small. It is not a big bulky machine. Easy to hold and easy to store.
What you should know. This is the Face model. It comes with the 360 blade and the 5-in-1 comb for the face, and that is it. If you want the body blade with the skin guard in the box, that is the Face + Body version, a different model. We use ours on other areas and it works for us, but I want you to know what actually comes in the box.
Who I would give this to. Any parent of a teenager with autism, or of a child with special needs, who is nervous about shaving. This is the one I recommend, without hesitation. And honestly, it works for anyone. It just happens that I bought it for my son.
Skip it if you want a heavy-duty barber machine for shaping a full beard. This is for a clean, safe, everyday shave.
