The handle and the blades are sold separately on Amazon, so it is easy to get confused. Here is my complete razor: the Dollar Shave Club Diamond Grip handle with the 6 blade cartridge I use. I have had the handle for more than two years; when a cartridge is done, I just click on a new one.

How they go together
1. The handle. It comes without blades. I like the ergonomic shape and the textured grip; it feels secure even when my hands are wet.
2. The blades. I use the 6 blade cartridges. Dollar Shave Club says its handles work with its current 4 Blade and 6 Blade cartridges, not with other brands or discontinued cartridges.
3. Together. Line the cartridge up with the top of the handle and click it on. To change it, press the small release button near the top.
If you are buying for the first time
Get one of each: the handle pack and the blade refills. After that, you only need to buy refills. The brand also sells a 4 Blade version of the refills; mine are the 6 Blade, so check the box before you buy.
Good to know
Razors are sharp. Never share cartridges, avoid shaving over cuts, scabs or irritated skin, change the cartridge when it stops gliding smoothly, rinse it after each use and keep it out of reach of children.
